Recently I got an email from someone asking about if I thought there were differences in personal swing speed between the colder winter months and warmer summer months.
I would assume that if your body was completely warmed up, you could swing the same in either case. However, it would make sense to me that it is easier to get warmed up and loose and stay that way in the warmer weather...soooo, I would have to say the warmer weather on average would be slightly faster.
I'm sure different people will probably have different experiences of this, though.

Back in August with temperature @ 100-105 my pitching wedge was 150-165 yards when the Austin swing was on. As the temps dropped so did my distance. At 40-50 degrees my pitching wedge is only going 115-125 yards. I played in 30 degree temps a couple of weeks ago and used a 7 iron from 135 and was right on the pin. So temperature is very important to both the person and the equipment. Love your forum. Looking forward to hearing your results from increased practice. -Anonymous
